First day

First days for all of us- mam and I back at work properly and li'l sis started secondary school. Can't believe how quickly time has gone! Received a pic of her in her uniform and lots of crying emojis from our mam this morning. She was very emotional- don't remember her being that way when I started secondary school!
Great first day back- I was fortunate to be free for the day so completed some display work and prepped for teaching of the new specification for KS4.
Li'l sis even got her own house key today- I didn't get mine until I was 15!
I rang her to check she'd arrived home safe and to catch up about her day. She was full of beans and maturity, making her packed lunch and sorting her school things. She'd had a great day and loved all of her lessons. The creative subjects were here favourite - proud sister here!
Ended the evening watching a favourite film of mine from my childhood- 'Willow'.
