Elan Valley Camping

You may recall a few days ago, at the start of the month, a friend and I took out bikes up to Elan Valley and back, just for the ride. It was so lovely up there that Janet and I are having a couple of days in the camper van, just down the road from the dam pictured on the 1st September blip.

It's a small but nice site, albeit there seems a dearth of hot water in the washing up room... Ah well. That's camping for you.

We walked around the nearest reservoir lake, which was slightly depleted to enable the work on the dam which was why the previous blip showed no waterfall. In total it appears we walked 24km this afternoon, and Janet is comatose in the back seat after a lovely sausage and tomato bap!
