Back to School

Finally! Back to school (college) for us today! We've been so excited about today especially as the Freshers Fair is such a great way to start our year and meet lots of brand new students. Today, however, was just massively frustrating. Usually, students come through in their tutor groups and so we're pretty much guaranteed to see most of the students during the day. Today we had a small trickle of students. We, and lots of other organisations, had put a lot of effort and resources into today and even though we had some great convos, to only see about 100 students out of a potential 1,000 is just frustrating. We know from past experience that there are loads of students feeling nervous and anxious about moving up and there were lots of us available to help today. Shame.

Met with Matt after college to talk about one of our school groups, so at least the day ended on a more positive note.
