Should of trusted my instincts!

What a traumatic walk last night!

Went to the dog park as normal. Jake got tired and I was about to take him home and a Collie turned up. Of course I wanted to cuddle him which I did, with Jake on the lead. There was about 12 dogs there at this point. All getting hyper. I decided to let Jake off the lead and off he bounded to the Collie, jumping on his back etc.

Then the collie went for Jake, Jake screeched, all the other dogs started chasing Jake growling and snacking at him....I though there was going to be a blood bath. Jake had the sense to run off up the path with me after him.

Anyway, not a scratch on him, thank god! Scary how quick Jake's friends all turned on him in the pack mentality.

Waited for the collie to leave and I walked him back down to the area so he knew it was safe there...

Got him home, nice big plate of food, and a snooze....he is less traumatized than me!!!
