My Dear Fellow,

A pleasant Monday today. I got summoned to Haymarket for a meeting which was called off as soon as I arrived. I knew I had to return to the Gyle for other meetings, but while I was there, they all got called off too.

A day where one meeting is cancelled is wonderful a day where ALL meetings are cancelled is miraculous. Plus, I was at Haymarket which is just 30 minutes walk from home.

When I got in I watched "The Bride of Frankenstein" with Jasper. Autumn is coming on. It is a time for b&w horror films. "The Beast With Five Fingers" beckons. 

Not literally.
