Figs & Figures

Guacamole for tea tonight, followed by figs. Not from our fig tree I'm afraid but the good news is that it hasn't died, instead it seems to have taken OK in the allotment. Rabbits can't climb trees.

Spent most of the morning with my newly-found, friendly IFA hoping to get the inside scoop on what do with my pension pot. He's friendly of course because I'll have to spend money with him to avoid giving too much of it to the taxman. But I'd rather do that I think! I was a bit surprised when he advised me to buy Premium Bonds instead of leaving money in the bank making no, or next to no, interest but it makes sense when I think about it. It's all a bit of a gamble anyway. I'm looking forward to the next interesting advice.
