This memorial plaque for second world war hero Guy Gibson is on the Porthleven town clock wall.his mother Nora Strike was from a Porthleven well known family.Guys middle name is Penrose after Penrose estate which is now own by the N T and very poplar walks with locals as well as visitors.there is a road named after him in the village Gison Way.
