Those were the days!

Even though it's September we are still having super weather.  Not quite hot enough to have to tuck my skirt in my pants though!!  This is Loch Affric and it must be about 1964. 

Braving the midges, I spent the morning in the veg plot down the road.  The tatties suffered from blight so took their tops off a while ago, but there is a pretty good crop underneath.  The peas and broad beans are finished now so I've cut them back and taken down the supports and pea sticks and it's looking a lot tidier.  As it's in someone else's garden there is a pressure to keep it looking a bit respectable!
