Day 1

Visited Great Mosque today. I was initially befuddled at the design of the Mosque as it was nothing like what I had seen before. After explanation by the tour guide, I realised that the Great Mosque is a product of the Chinese as a gift to the Muslims as they assisted the Chinese in battle. It's fascinating to see the integration of two cultures even in ancient times.
