Sunshine over the Royal Mile

Another hot and sunny day on the royal mile, so many opportunities for photographs but I wasn't happy with most of my pictures, due to the sunlight and shadows.

So I decided to try and use these to my advantage and I got this image, I was trying to get silhouettes of the dancers but that didn't really work, however I did like the flare from the sun and the long shadows. The dancers in the foreground are from the show "The Picture Show", for anyone not familiar with Edinburgh's Royal Mile the big pointy building at the top left is St. Giles Cathedral.
