Greedy

As we came up the Tyne one of the kitchen staff came up and fed the gulls. The blip shows a juvenile taking its unexpected breakfast. We got off the ferry quickly and headed to North Shields to go along the harbour wall. We found free parking and cycled there; almost instantly we found how different cycling is here in the UK. We were on a national cycle route, but people seem unable to get out of the way as they do on the continent. Then we got into trouble for cycling along the harbour wall; if the CCTV had been working we might have got a fine! Annoyingly as we were just south of Berwick the cloud cleared away to give the best weather for weeks.
