The Waverly Route
Well in this shot the lines to the left take you into my old freight depot at Millerhill and to the right this turnback siding is for the Newcraighall trains to change ends and head back into Edinburgh in between these two lines you can see the ballast of the original turnback siding but the new siding which has be slewed into position will soon be continuing on its original route of what was called the Waverly Route which will be rebuilt for around 35 miles back to Tweedbank around 1 mile short of the border town of Melrose and not before time too so this is my blip for the day
