Astrophotography Fail

We went outside to see the Perseid Meteor Shower this evening and I thought it might be a nice idea to take some photos. Sadly, I had already had some red wine before I thought this, and I couldn't quite remember how to do long exposures with my camera. And then, after a couple of failed attempts, my camera battery expired.

As it turned out, there really wasn't much of a shower to be seen anyway.
