Ilkley Moor

It's our camera club's self guided photo walk this weekend.  We had a series of directions leading to nine photo locations.

We were a bit wary after it was a damp at home, but by the time we got to Ilkley it was a beautiful blue sky.  The forecast said showers, so we figured if we took waterproofs we'd be fine.

We made our way from Ilkley town centre up onto the moors, and as we passed through a wood it started raining.  We assumed it would just be a shower, so we carried on.  Unfortunately, it didn't stop, with the shower lasting for over an hour.  It was sometimes quite heavy!

We carried on with the walk, only avoiding one location and photographing it from afar.  We did get very wet though!
