Dylan

No, unfortunately not that one, sadly departed (Dills the Cav).  This is Dylan the son of Emma, the daughter of our friend Teresa.  The gentleman to the right is Dylan's great grandfather (I'm not sure who the gentleman to the left is).

Today was Dylan's Christening at St Dunstan Church in Kings Heath.  This is the first I've been to since my own, so a novel experience; I'm not religious so could follow the whole ceremony dispassionately though the acoustics in the church were not very good.

The baptism (is that the same thing?) was followed by lunch and drinks at the Patrick Kavanagh, formally The Trafalgar,  a very interesting pub in Moseley.  There was plenty of food and drink and a good time was had by all, including Dylan who had lots of fussing.

The extra shows part of the modernity of the inside of the church.
