Amazing day

Left bettyhill as the haar was starting to lift and drove west through Tongue toDurness. Stopped off at an amazing beach ( Caennabeinne) absolute favourite of the author of Scotland the best guidebook. Then drove around Loch Eriboll and the sun came out and stayed out all day. Called in to Lottie Globs sculpture garden but she wasn't there so had coffee and cake in Les's tea rooms next door. Then on to smoo and Durness , calling in at Balnakeil craft village- got gorgeous chocolate and a ceramic pot thing. Spent the afternoon the amazing Balnakeil beach under a beautiful sky which just started to cloud over as we walked back Then fish pie at the Sango Sands Oasis- fab!
