River Devon
It was warm and sunny - all day! We walked up from Blackford to the delightfully named Glen Bee. This is the hillside that provides the water for Highland Spring. Surplus water was gushing from beneath a collection hut, and perhaps we should have waited to fill our water bottles there. Still, Perth tap water is nearly as good.
After a very lazy lunch by Upper Glendevon Reservoir, lying in the sun for nearly an hour, we climbed Burnfoot Hill. It is covered in wind turbines now, but still has good views. The highlight to the trip back down was seeing a weasel run across the track. It was in view for just a second, so no chance of a photo.
The photo is the River Devon where it is just a burn, about to run into Upper Glendevon Reservoir.
