Flying home

Regretfully we had to leave our sunny getaway today. Flying from Split, we travelled up the Dalmatian coast over Zadar where we saw the sea organ, and then on over the Alps.
The weather looked great until the English Channel appeared and we plunged into cloud never to re-emerge. Manchester was 14C and raining hard and we were glad of our jackets as we waited for the airport bus.
However, Pepper was delighted to see us and had obviously had a great holiday too with her dog sitters.
We got home and immediately lit the wood burner!
