Peace

I managed to grab a quick walk at Trentham gardens this morning before the rest of the day was spent organising things to take dad into respite care tomorrow. Once we'd made sure he knew what was happening, and had something to eat we settled in for a quiet night.

It wasn't to be, we ended up going back as he was struggling to get up. This led to calls to the police and ambulance as we couldn't get into the flat and though he was injured. When we did get in he was fine, phew! The paramedics gave him the once over, and would you believe it, for a man of 80, he has the blood pressure of a 20 year old!

We were exhausted by the time we got home.....
