Feeling a little flat

Despite his antics and reports to the contrary, Bob isn't quite no more just yet.

There was an horific diagnostic process - holding him face down in a bath of water-but the source of the his let down was eventually discovered by Dr Science (i.e. me) to be the joint of his right wrist.
So following an exhaustive surgical process, ably assisted by Mr Bump, the leak was temporarily stemmed. Further surgery way be required before next year's festivaling, but for now he's recovering in bed.
