This crack appeared about a month ago on the main road from Dalkeith to Sheriffhall. It took a good week or so before the council actually decided to close the road! Not much has happened in a few weeks except the crack had got bigger! Soon we might get lava.

The annoying bit is there's an easy back road that you can go round without any hassle...except the residents (councillors) of the big houses on this road don't want it being used so it's local access only! Well I pay my road tax and am a local resident. Why shouldn't I use it if I drive carefully and within speed limits! I've never seen any kids in the area or seen anyone driving dangerously. Anyhow rant over! Ran 11.2 miles tonight. Ten days til the half marathon and I am hurting! Time to get some painkillers!
