Mock Orange Bush....Blooming Now?

It is almost Autumn and I don't think this flower is supposed to be blooming now.....but it is a pretty flower against our gray sky so it is my Blip for today. It did rain after I took this photo. I worked in the yard cleaning up my Hosta which the slugs and snails have made into lacy leaves with lots of holes and chewed up edges. I found a few of the culprits and removed them from the area.....I even found about 15 teeny tiny snails; I don't think they should be hatching right now either. I took care of them too. I can't tolerate the little darlings around my garden.  :-((  
I spent about 2 hours on my hands and knees, so I was glad to see the rain for an excuse to quit before the job was complete......I really wanted to get back into the house and do an art project....I am afraid I have been a little obsessed with this fun art I have discovered. I like it and all my troubles melt away when I am engrossed in creating something I think is beautiful and meaningful. I really don't care if anyone else likes it, it is simply for my own meditation and satisfaction. But can I tell you that two of my girlfriends and my hubby actually said it was really pretty and inspirational? I know I said I didn't care, but I did enjoy hearing that someone else thought it was nice.  :-)) The theme of todays art is: "Living Life Waiting and Watching to See What Unexpected Blessing Shows up Next".   So I consider the rain shower as my unexpected blessing for the moment. So, I will leave this site and go about my project. I hope you see your many unexpected blessings today too.
