Really?!

Early start on the allotment to take the coop apart and put it back together to solve the leak problem. Only me and one other member, Colourful Mai was poorly and the other...who knows, she didn't bother letting me know! So hopefully we have sorted the leak - we certainly got the weather courtesy of Storm Gertrude to find out! 
I was happily taking photos when Party Girl contacted - she though 2 of her mums chickens were egg bound, could I come and look! So I did with my rubber gloves, tub of vaseline and herbal gut conditioner,  and they weren't! I suspect the green grapes from their vine had given some an upset and one in particular has always had a bald bum so it always looks big! Coop needed a damn good clean though, guess who did that! She got me the things I required then disappeared to make me a coffee! I think it was all a ruse to get me to clean the coop for her!
Home and the rain came - and came, and came! So an idle day at home for me! Yippee! Tomorrow my sister comes to stay for a week and the weather should be brightening up so we can get out and about! She usually comes in the holiday, but now she is retired we thought when the schools start back would be an ideal time - as ex-teachers we've had quite enough of children thank you! 
P.S. This is my sweetcorn - looking promising and rain and sun is just what they need!
