Very sad grave

This back blip links (vaguely) to my blip of 7 August 2012...

This grave is in Wellington and I found it so very sad... this family lost 5 children in 11 days, which as a parent I can't even begin to image how that would feel. I presume it was some sort of infectious disease - typhoid perhaps? or maybe they were newly arrived by boat and contracted something there?

They must have had at least one surviving child, from the continuation of the family further down the gravestone.
