Feather Fungus

Mum and I headed over to Lullingstone Country Park for a picnic lunch on the River Darenth.  As we wandered back to the car I noticed some fungii growing on an oak tree overlooking the river. I was intrigued by an  irisdecent blue feather stuck into one - it is probably a kingfisher feather - and likely the closest I would come to seeing one on this path favoured by dog walkers!
