Sad Day

Sad and sore day today as we said goodbye to friend who recently lost her brave fight against cancer, far too young. The huge turnout will be a big comfort to her family in the difficult days to come.

Once back home there was a need to spend some energy and get some fresh air so attacked the garden. The Christmas Tree was finally chopped up for composting then the cotoneaster along the back wall hedge was taken to task with the hedge trimmers, that feels better.

This wee fella nearly got trampled under foot but we saved him, then sautéed him in garlic for dinner .............only kidding ;-)
