Bake off week 2

Thankfully just biscuits this week. I have never liked Viennese whirls, an unnecessarily crumbly, tasteless biscuit I always thought but obv homemade ones are just lovely. Homemade piping kits resulted in biscuits 'like turds' apparently and we did manage to make each one approx twice the size Mary recommended. The final product is actually lovely but far too big and a bit ipof a struggle to finish.

And I made damson jam, I suspect with rather a soft set which makes the hours picking out the sodding stones a bit of a disappointment but never mind, I won't be eating it.....
