Star Stacking Across the Universe

A clear night in Lincolnshire allowed me to deposit my camera and tripod in the front garden of our friends house. I'd promised to deliver an astro photograph if the conditions permitted.

The picture uploaded is the result of stacking circa 600 shot taken over 5 hours. Each shot is an exposure of around 25 seconds.

Great fun watching it emerge as the StarStaX software does its stuff.
