Meet Dudleykiev of Team Squirrel

Yes, folks, we are off to a great start in Day One of the Tallyho Alternative Olympics.  Here you see Dudleykiev of the Ukraine soccer team sussing out the situation on the soccer field.  Unfortunately, mere moments after this historic shot was taken, he lost focus, grabbed a peanut and left the field.  His cousin Extreme Seymour was furious and demanded a do-over.  The judges are debating it as I write this report...

In other news, the star of Team Cardinal left the stadium in tears because her hair looked awful.  The hummers greeted the day with wild applause which quickly devolved into fighting and name-calling.  Team Mourning Dove became totally confused by the uneven clothesline bars and one of them pooped, thereby disqualifying them.  (Much to the glee of the woodpeckers who are heavily favored to win this event.)  Rumors abound that Mimsy will be putting in an appearance in the days to come, perhaps to compete in the ever-popular cherryball tournament.  A

As for me, I'm exhausted after a day of on-the-scene reporting and looking forward to a glass of wine.
