We had a paved circle that has been there since about 1989, after we dug out the stump of the ash tree blown down in the 1987 hurricane.
The sand had become a nest for ants, weeds grew out of the gaps whatever we did to discourage them and the surface was irregular. So today we had it all out. Used some of the bricks to raise the paths in the vegetable garden and stacked the rest.
Now going to dig out the cement kerb and fill the hole with top soil and grass it over.
