What is there beyond hope?

It was really lovely down on the beach at Workington this evening after work ... once I'd tiptoed past the tampon applicators etc. Interestingly I saw 2 one-legged seagulls. And downwind ... Sellafield ... or should I say Windscale ....
Lovely to get outdoors after what felt like a long day / weeks / eternity and into the breezy warm rime air to catch the late sun.
So many reworkings of yesterday's Deep Blue Sea in my head today ... some beautiful Hopper like imagery keeps re-emerging and such a wonderful understanding of despair and what it takes to live.
