Fading summer

This morning dawned dull and looking like rain. Despite the forecast I put clothes out on the line then headed out for a walk around a local country park. (2nd official day of my 10k steps for Cancer research) 
As the afternoon wore on the weather improved and the sun actually shone. The forecast for next week is more hot sunny weather so maybe an Indian summer.
