A welcome break in Masham
Today four of us went for a bike ride in North Yorkshire.
We set of from Ripon and headed North to Bedale (first coffee stop). Then we went via a slightly circuitous route to Masham for a "light" lunch of gammon & pineapple, egg and chips at the lovely Bordar House Teas (delicious). This café is very popular with cyclists and can be recommended.
After lunch we dragged ourselves back out and onto our bikes again for the return to Ripon via Grewelthorpe and Kirby Malzeard.
The sun threatened to come out a few times but unfortunately never did so. I did take a couple of shots of the rolled up straw bales in the fields as possible blips, but rejected them in favour of this one.
All in all, a grand day out in spite of the mediocre weather.
