Bird on yew..

..I would LOVE to (with confidence) say, 'this is a ...'
But I can't.
Not with confidence.

I'm confident about the yew though :-)
(I'm also fairly confident that it's a male yew).
It is providing much, welcome, cover for the little garden birds which I am attempting to (pretty unsuccesfully) stalk.

I have however been gardiggering (digging in the garden) and pronounce myself highly (so highly) ready for whatever the red wine forecast brings this evening.

(Surely it's a juvenile chaffinch?).
