Loch Lomond in September

After lunch Minty and I headed down to Milarrochy for our usual walk along to Manse Bay, but because of last night's heavy rain the burn was in spate, so we had to turn back. Instead we found a perfect little sandy beach where Minty was able to do his swimming/stick-retrieving practice - see extra.

The darkness and gloom of the main blip hint at recent and imminent showers, but I liked the window of brightness reflected on the water.

My mission this morning was to deliver two bags of old towels and mats to the SSPCA Cat and Dog Home in Milton, where I hoped I might snatch a blip or two, but there was a sign up saying 'No Photographs', and anyway the occupants of the cages were all behind two lots of mesh. What really surprised me was that I wasn't at all upset by any of the dogs I saw, whereas a few of the cats tugged at my heartstrings in a way I certainly wasn't expecting!

Friday night is 'GBBO: an Extra Slice' night. It always gets the weekend off to an amusing start. Hope you all have a great weekend, blipmates.
