2016 Thursday -- Nearing Santa Barbara

My morning teaching schedule ended at 12:35. This was the first day of Thursday classes for the autumn semester and my two new classes had been good experiences. Several students lingered to ask questions about the required books.

I gathered my things and walked to my car, so I could get home as soon as possible. Classes had been out for at least 20 minutes when I motored from the parking lot to the street and discovered the bumper-to-bumper traffic. Ugh! I sent a photo text to Mr. Fun to let him know I'd be a few minutes longer than I planned.

This photo is several hours later as we were nearing Santa Barbara. Our destination was Cayucos--to spend this holiday weekend at our coast home.

We've been nine sleeps gone from the coast. We can't wait to get back, even for just a weekend.
