It is Friday

Last the Burgundy Bar was still being used for a funeral wake and the first challenge was to move the venue into a jazz night.  Actually the funeral party stayed and kept drinking with conversations that got wilder and wilder - surreal - as Trevor Owen and his band of Liam Byrne (sax), Andy Hulme (guitar) and Dave Turner (bass) were in competition with them!
The layout of the room was as they had wanted but eventually I took a seat and got into a position where I could sketch
The  funeral party did move into another bar and we enjoyed a great night of jazz and here are Liam and Andy.
The final twist was that one lady from the funeral party came up to me and said she thought she new me .....and that maybe I did not recognise here with her clothes on ......a previous muse!......too much information and overheard by others, including her partner! 
Such a complicated evening as all I wanted to do was listen to jazz, sketch and enjoy a few pints!.
