Not the Queen's Balmoral
This picture is taken from outside the Scotsman Hotel, looking over to the grand Balmoral Hotel. I love the Victorian architecture of the Balmoral and it is especially beautiful when lit up at night. Since 1902, it's clock has been running 3 minutes fast to ensure locals and visitors catch their trains on time. The glass roof you can see belongs to Waverley Train Station - the station covers 25 acres in the heart of the city centre. The North Bridge to the right joins the Old Town to the New Town and was built in the 1890's.
