A ride across the Windermere Ferry this morning having left the car in Bowness.  From there a walk up to the Claife viewing station, back down and along the lakeshore before returning to the ferry via the cafe.

Just missed a boat back so we decided to have a play with the new ticket machine and pay by card (contactless).  They are as difficult to use as media reports have said. 

An afternoon of gardening. I've applied some magic sprinkles which, if the manufacturers claims are correct, will have my lawn looking like a bowling green in 4 weeks. I doubt it.
