Finishing what we started...

A hectic morning for me to get the girls all ready for dance, to the Library to get their last two books as part of the BFG Reading Challenge, get R to the opticians go get her new glasses and the the big three to Clarkes for their new school shoes and all before 11.30am!

An afternoon at work for me, that was planned to be a quiet afternoon of cleaning and resulted in a busy afternoon of pottery painting - which was great!

We had a fabulous evening with friends that we started the school holidays with. Again, watching the children play together was heart-melting. We had a crazy show of make-up (mainly ours had the crazy faces!) and a great adult game of picking up the cereal box with just your mouth.

It was definitely one of those evenings that will stay in my memory bank. I have a great appreciation of the friendships formed, the fun we all have together and the memories we are making for our families.
