Soldier Bear

My Dear Fellow,

Meetings, meetings, meetings today. I wouldn't mind but I don't think one of them accomplished a thing.

I have to admit, I spent most of them daydreaming about what I was going to eat when I got home (salad) and what I was going to watch ("Footlight Parade").

"Footlight Parade" was jolly good fun. I do like a bit of Cagney. 

And in blip news, here's a picture of Wojtek the bear in Princes Street gardens. I think there should be more statues of animals and less of people. I would love to see a giant squirrel in Charlotte Square, dwarfing Prince Albert. And maybe a huge owl atop the Scott Monument.
