Another world

That's how I felt all holiday - a completely different world!

It was our last full day at Animal Kingdom Lodge today. Although the hotel is amazing and we have loved staying here you do have to wonder whether it is worth the extra money as we have spent so little time actually in the hotel other than for sleeping. So we decided to make the most of the pool this morning before heading back to Magic Kingdom.

Lottie loved the pool and the slide but the one thing she has missed this holiday is making a friend. People are coming and going all the time and, as I said, it is just a base for most of them.

After a quick lunch we got the bus back to Magic Kingdom to see the afternoon parade. It was so hot, Lottie couldn't even sit on the pavement to watch it without putting her jacket down first. We enjoyed it more than the night parade though.

We spent some time wandering round the bits we hadn't already seen, went on the Speedway, the spinning teacups, It's a Small World.

Tea was booked at the Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet. It was lovely food and we all enjoyed it, you just get caught up with the magic of it all no matter how old you are!

Afterwards we had another wander, went back on the speedway and Small World (to avoid the fireworks). It was a very late night but another great day.
