Where I live

A beautiful day today. Sun and blue sky. I set off walking up our track from the village and met a few walkers making the most of the day.

This is a view from the track as it winds up and round the Pike. The cow very conveniently posed to provide some foreground interest! There were a few of them wandering the fellside and they had stopped to watch people passing by. You can see their shadows. They were quite docile, but I did get to the other side of a gate before I stopped to take the photo!

You can see our village in the middle distance. Our house is somewhere there. In the far distance are the Lakeland Fells.
