Casa Plasencia

Spending a couple of quiet days in Tijuana getting final touches to Dental work done - not too unpleasant this time.  Enjoyed a meal at what has become a favorite restaurant just across the road from the hotel - this little trio serenaded us while we ate.  I had sweetbreads for starter which I hadn't had for a long time - very tasty (for those who don't know what they are - offal made from the thymus gland - doesn't sound great but they are really tasty) See extra photo.  Followed that with a shrimp dish and Flan - always have to have some flan when I go to Mexico.  Glad to be coming home tomorrow but a restful break.
