Beginning of a new school year
It's back to school for this young man tomorrow, so I always like to take a photo at the beginning of the year because I know that by the time we get to the end of the school year he will look very different, yet again. He will be taking all of his GCSE's this year and his year are the first candidates to take the new GCSE's as introduced by that idiot Gove our previous Minister of Education. For some silly reason they have changed the grading, instead of getting A-E a candidate will now get 9-1. However some exam boards are keeping the A-E grading so it will be rather confusing. They will not have any past papers to help with their studies as the format of the exams is also changing, with more essay based typed questions and fewer short answers.
The university term only starts in the second week of October, so Luke and Adam still have a few weeks of holiday left.
Molly is also going home today, so with Gavin away this week and Thomas at school it will be a very quiet household again from tomorrow.
