Corte de luz

I was spoilt for choice for today's blip as it was a somewhat eventful heavily photographed day. We went out on the boat as the seas were nice and calm; and all was well until we ran out of fuel - it was my job to check the tank and I wasn't too clever at judging the amount of liquid left. So, we chugged to a stop, got the oars out and attempted to row. This didn't work as we were rowing into a current and couldn't make any headway. Just as boyfriend was about to start towing the boat by swimming in the water Lassie-style, some nice people on a boat noticed we were in a bit of a spot and towed us to the nearest boat petrol station at Llafranc. We then found a tiny quiet beach with a very rustic old-school chiringuito - washing up outside, handwritten receipt and full of people who'd arrived by boat to have lunch. All very lovely. The journey back was more difficult - the wind had picked up and our poor little boat was struggling on the big waves.
We decided to treat ourselves to some lovely tapas; but more or less all of Palamos was in darkness following a power cut, which made a very romantic atmosphere but unfortunately no hot food. The place pictured is super - 1 euro for a beer, 2 for a glass of wine, 9 for a bottle of Rioja crianza and tapitas priced between 1-2 euros. Me gusta :)
