High Seas and High Teas

Today we took a journey down memory lane. We arrived at Liverpool at 8.30 for what we expected to be a 9am departure on the PS Waverley. However this was just a ruse by the company to get everyone there on time and we did not leave until 10.45.

The weather was fine, if not wall to wall sunshine, and we departed for Llandudno. It was packed on board but a very pleasant trip along the north Wales coast. We spent a couple of hours enjoying afternoon tea in one of the fine establishments along the promenade before returning to the pier and our journey home. All in all a lovely day.
