I was really sad to hear that Gene Wilder died yesterday, he was a brilliant comic actor and so I had to do a tribute to him today, the only trouble was that I was home late and didn't have the necessary props. 

I wanted to do Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and portray all the children, but the late shop didn't sell bubble gum so I couldn't blow a big bubble like Violet Beauregarde. The easiest option was to stuff my face with chocolate....the things I have to do for a photo...sigh. So, here I am as Augustus Gloop.

One little bit of useless information for you...the actress, Julie Dawn Cole  played Veruca Salt, the really spoilt girl, well, I have photos of myself as a young girl and we look very similar. We could pass as sisters. I just thought you would like to know :) Nowadays I look more like an Oompa Loompa though :((

Anyway, back to Gene Wilder....he was wonderful as Willy Wonka, but he has his Golden Ticket now!

I drove the lorry today and I only bashed into a large boulder on the way to Leigh.....so not a bad day he he he.
