Swarf. ...

A day of mixed achievement . Brought some calves in to tag, then applied for their passports online. Went down the road to see if there was any straw ready to bale, but their combine still broken down, so came home again !
Spent some time crawling about rewiring the lights on a bale trailer after Break it Bill forgot to disconnect the cable when he unhitched it yesterday. Hugh Stewart back in to finish off bits on the cattle race he installed, then Arthur arrived with a new starter for one of the McCormick tractors. Would have had a go at fitting it myself, but it was very awkward so left him to it !
Down the road after tea again but combine still not out so fed cattle and came home.
This is some of the metal award left from drilling bolt holes in the cattle race. Will need to lift it all tomorrow before it is swallowed by a beast !
