Peace After Storm

Mora's main square just as it got dark tonight, with a friend on the church steps looking at me. Love that all these Alentejano towns have squares where kids can play, folk can have a drink together and catch up on the gossip.

First time out of the house all day, apart from the clothesline - cleaning and cooking and admin, and booking tickets to Sutton for Christmas - excitement lasted as long as it took me to walk to the toilet - before M realised we'd double booked - how I hate these situations... oh well, we'll get a meal together with the friends booked to come, and then they can use our house, while we dash down to catch the flight from Faro... best we can do.
